My favorites hobby

As I am very active, I like to skate and dance. On skates I ride for a long time. I learned that from my mom.

First I learned to roller skate, and then I stood on the ice. Skating is very fun! I like to skate with my friends.

But the most important hobby of my life is dancing. All my free time I devote to dancing. Because dancing for me is life.

I have been doing cheerleading. I go to dance classes 3 times a week. Recently our team participated in a cheerleading competition and took the 3d place.

I hope soon we will become the first and the best.

Поскольку я очень активна, мне нравится кататься на коньках и танцевать. На коньках я катаюсь долгое время. Я узнала об этом от моей мамы.

Сначала я научилась кататься на роликах, а потом я стояла на льду. Кататься на коньках очень весело! Я люблю кататься с друзьями.

Но самое важное хобби в моей жизни - танцы. Все свободное время я посвящаю танцам. Потому что танцы для меня - это жизнь.

Я делаю черлидинг. Я хожу на занятия по танцам 3 раза в неделю. Недавно наша команда участвовала в конкурсе на черлидинг и заняла 3-е место.

Надеюсь, скоро мы станем первыми и лучшими.

My favorites hobby

From my point of view, hobby plays an important role in a person`s life. Now I would like to set some examples to prove this statement.

Firstly, it helps get out of depression and raise our spirits. For instance, you have been frustrated. But if you have a favourite occupation, while passing the time you are getting involved in the process and gradually forgeting about the previous failure. As it is known, this is an exellent way of entertainment after an unsuccessful experience, as your attention is fully concentrated on the thing you are doing.

Secondly, a hobby can also help choose a career path for the future. For example, when doing sport you understand that you can not live without it and this is your natural rate. Such people usually become professional sportsmen, trainers.

Apart from that, it refers to other spheres of activity. To conclude, hobby is not only a way of calming down and relaxing, but also it can be a useful experiment for your future job.

С моей точки зрения, хобби играет немаловажную роль в жизни человека. Для того, чтобы данное утверждение звучало более убедительно, я хотела бы привести несколько примеров.

Во-первых, оно выводит нас из депрессии и поднимает настроение. Допустим, вы очень сильно расстроены чем-либо. Но если у вас есть любимое занятие, то оно настолько заинтересовывает, что приятно проводя время, вы постепенно забываете о неудаче. Как известно, хобби - это отличный способ развлечения после неуспешного инцидента, так как ваше внимание полностью концентрируется на том, чем вы занимаетесь.

Во-вторых, хобби также может помочь с выбором карьеры, жизненного пути. Например, во время регулярных занятий спортом вы понимаете, что это ваш естественный образ жизни. Чаще всего такие люди становятся профессиональными спортсменами, тренерами. Нужно отметить, что это также относится и к другим сферам деятельности.

Итак, хобби может быть не только способом успокоения и расслабления, но также и полезным опытом для будущей профессии.

I enjoy horror movies and books especially Stephen King. I love tenpin bowling, playing darts, watching ice hockey, swimming, and attempting to line dance! Ideally for home entertainment love to challenge on the playstaion, cards, over a few beers! Out and about dancing, being wined and dined socialising with friends, going to giggs(varied tastes).

Who am I? Well that"s simple I love the arts - music, theatre, museums and I also love to dance and keep myself fit so that I can do. I love to be at one with nature walking in the countryside where I do most of my thinking. To sum myself up - I love all beautiful things whatever that may mean.

I enjoy all sports associated with water - skiing, sailing, diving, snorkelling (in warm waters). I am extensively travelled but not too jet lagged to try far flung destinations with the right man. Classic cars are a bit of a passion (yes, I"m probably a bit of an anorak).
Snow skiing in the French Alps is a must annual holiday for me - I am prepared to teach a "first-timer". I love cooking and entertaining - especially on warm summer evenings having dinner outdoors or even in the garden is my ideal summer occupation. All aspects of art and music interest me from Proms in the Park to The Waterboys, 18th century prints are a favourite along with pen and ink drawings - all of which I scour antique shops looking for a bargain - hate to pay real price for anything. Going out to the theatre, ballet or opera is another of my interests and am as happy in a posh frock as in a scruffy t-shirt and jeans painting my garden railings....

I love socialising, going out for meals, drinking, travelling, or quiet nights in with a good film snuggled up on the couch - preferably not on my own.

My interests are very different. There are many things I would like to deal with. I like reading and watching good films, as well as opera and jazz. I am extremely fond of dancing, painting and art. I like acute senses and beauty of nature, communication and travelling.

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, a hobby is an activity that someone does for pleasure when they are not working. Moreover, a hobby is the person’s interest and preference that reflects his inner world. Through hobbies people realize the need for development and creativity.
There are many interesting things that can be people’s hobbies. Some people discover their talent in playing musical instruments, singing or painting. People fascinated by sports find it in football, tennis or ice-skating etc. There are also some options for calm people e.g. collecting things or making models.
As for me I have always been a very energetic person and have always had plenty of hobbies. I was interested in sports, especially volleyball and tennis. I collected stickers, toys and coins, had painting and language lessons, took part in a choir. Nevertheless, my deepest passion was always dancing. When I first came to the training I was so charmed by my coach and got so inspired that I started spending two hours three times a week there. I think it was the perfect hobby for my body and my soul. I have learned how to express myself through the body movements.
At the current moment, I suppose that my hobby is English. It’s not only the process of learning the language for me. I like listening to English songs, watching videos and movies in original, visiting speaking clubs and communicating with native speakers. I admire the culture of English speaking countries and I’m interested in everything that is connected with it. I have lessons three times a week and I love my group and the teacher. She makes the process of studying so exciting.
Thus, I believe that the keyword in a hobby definition is "pleasure". My hobby brings me a lot of pleasure and satisfaction. I feel my progress and it’s the best motivation to go ahead.

Я люблю фотографию. Фотография – это настоящее искусство, которым непросто овладеть. На самом деле, это не только искусство, но целая наука. Мне интересно узнавать новое об оборудовании для фотографии, экспозиции снимка, цветах и освещении. Я читаю блоги известных фотографов и прислушиваюсь к их советам.

В фотографии много разных жанров. Мне нравится фотографировать природу и людей. Неподвижная природа оживает на фотографии. Люди, напротив, только на фотографии замирают и позволяют фотографу увековечить мгновение их жизни. Я люблю портреты. Я делала портреты в полный рост и поясные портреты, а также семейные и групповые портреты.

Почему мне нравится фотография?

  1. Не бывает двух одинаковых фотографий. Можно фотографировать одного и того же человека или место и каждый раз находить что-то новое.
  2. Мои друзья часто обращаются ко мне с просьбой сфотографировать их. Это значит, что они считают меня профессионалом. А я стараюсь их порадовать.
  3. Фотография учит нас замечать красоту в простых вещах. Мы привыкли жить в быстром темпе. И только взяв в руки фотоаппарат, у нас появляется возможность осмотреться и увидеть необычное в обычном.

People with a good deal of money often collect paintings, rare books and other art objects. Often such private collections are given to museums, libraries and public galleries so that others might take pleasure in seeing them.

No matter what kind of hobby a person has, he always has the opportunity of learning from it. By reading about the things he is interested in, he is adding to what he knows. Learning things can be the most exciting aspect of a hobby.
